The prints, suitable for framing, are a slightly smaller version of our popular “classic” prints which sell for $150 each. The classic image is 10″ in longest dimension whereas this special collector’s edition image is 8″ wide. The prints are archival, made on fine art 100% cotton heavyweight paper. Each are the same size as the plates that grace the interior of the book. Offered in this special are two of my favorite, collectible images from the books.
Leaving Tamalpais for the City was created on a clear moonless night near Trojan Point in Mount Tamalpais State Park, November 2017. It features the sparkling glory of the Milky Way hovering over the fog-blanketed San Francisco Bay area.
Lightpool, Papermill Creek was shot on large format film from the Green Bridge near Point Reyes Station in June of 1991. A brief opening in the encroaching fog lets a brilliant pool of sunlight spill upon the waters of Papermill Creek.
