One Place Deeply, a new book by Point Reyes photographer, Marty Knapp is an intimate photo journey of a favorite natural area near the artist’s home. The reader is taken along the Green Bridge Trail seen through Knapp’s lens over an eight-year period during the seasonal changes of weather and light in this wetlands meadow near Lagunitas Creek. Over time the views shift from wider trailside views to close-up surprises of nature’s intricate design seen only inches from the eye.
