Hi Marty, I think the vertical version is more powerful, and I suspect that is why you picked it so many years ago. The dark bushes on each side hold one into the frame a bit better (the horizontal lets one drift off to the right side). The reflection of the large cloud in the center top is very nicely placed and distinguishable in the water, as the darker water around the reflection isolates the cloud nicely, leading one back up to the right side into the bush reflection and around again. Very nice capture!
