Informal Landscape Shooting Sessions with Marty Knapp
A unique opportunity to visit the Point Reyes landscape and photograph it with award-winning photographer Marty Knapp. Take advantage of this small group, informal photography learning experience. In the field, Marty will answer your questions and share his thoughts and methods about his own creative process...about how he finds the evocative light and compositions that distinguish his signature black & white landscape photography.
You'll travel with Marty to one of his favorite locations in the Point Reyes Seashore area. Look through his camera's viewfinder as he explains the decisions leading to an exposure. Between these demos, Marty will share valuable tips as he coaches you on your own shots. This is an excellent way to improve your understanding of light and compositon in an intimate but dynamic situation. Digital and film shooters are welcome.
After the field session we'll catch a meal at a local cafe as we continue to talk about our photography and the experiences we shared during the session. The meal is no-host.
